untitled-119.jpgNot to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.  -Psalm115:1

I am a thinker, an observer, a learner, a true follower of Jesus, a lover of the Word of God.

God the Father called me to be a mother more than thirteen years ago. (Yes, I now have a teenager!) My second child followed a little less than three years later. No, I don’t have ‘littles’ in the house anymore, but I remember those days (with fondness…and fear)! I consider parenting to be my highest calling.  Being a Christ-follower parent is about intentionality, prayer, and watching Him work.

Find out more about me on my other blog or at carolesparks.com.

But it’s not about me–not even parenting. Especially not parenting.  It’s about Jesus Christ of Nazareth, about God the Father, and about the Holy Spirit.

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out!     –Romans 11:33

    1. Hi, Tyler. Thanks for reading and for your offer. Since I’m reducing my presence on this blog, I won’t be using guest posts with regularity anymore. Sorry about that! Still, I look forward to reading some of your writing on prayer. I feel that prayer is going to be one of my big focuses this year.
